






This relief, both featuring beautiful green glassy scales. The lamp itself is crafted from bronze with exquisite Champlevé work. This intricate process involves hand-carving designs into the metal before filling the carved areas with crushed glass and baking them in a hot oven. Each piece requires multiple firings for each color, starting with the highest temperatures for the colors that need it, then gradually lowering the he exquisite piece from the Meiji period (1868-1912) in Japan is a rare find, once used to illuminate a temple, palace, or its pathways. It was converted to electric power in the early 1900s, as indicated by its original plug. While the lamp requires some restoration due to stuck pull chains, the shade—likely from the flapper era of the 1920s—has seen better days. However, the entire lamp can be restored to its original condition.
Standing 5'3" tall, and approximately 6' with the shade (excluding the finial), it has a base diameter of 14" and the shade measures roughly 24" across and 17" high. Adorning the neck of the lamp are two stunning bronze dragon statues in at for subsequent colors, all while ensuring the colors remain distinct. Such a piece would have taken many weeks to complete. While there is minimal damage to the small globe, the lamp is overall in very good condition. Priced at $6,500.00.

Two matching exquisite, authentic Oriental throne chairs, truly antique and not reproductions. The armrests feature intricate carvings of water dragon heads, and while there is Chinese script on the backs, we do not know its meaning. Upholstered in thick red leather, these chairs sit low to the ground and are remarkably sturdy. They are one-of-a-kind, as we have never encountered any others like them.
